For the Love Of Jewelry & Necessity

I never could understand why the makers of things for people dealing with a medical issue thought it would be cute to make things that are just down right u-g-l-y!  Ok maybe somewhere there are a few people who don’t really mind a black bag, or plain silver jewelry that screams ‘Hey I’m Sick, Help Me If I Need It!’  But from my understanding and talking to lots of others who deal, it’s kinda nice to still be pretty and feminine or strong and masculine and still monitor, check, and attend to your ‘deal’.

So whenever I find something like that I gotta tell you.  Well jewelry is no exception it’s long been the discussion that medical jewelry well just isn’t that pretty.  But some companies and artists are stepping up to the game and changing that. Here’s some we found from I.C.E Gems and Lauren’s Hope:

:|Bag It|:

Throwing up, vomiting, blowing chunks or however you refer to it, it’s not fun and for some it more of a common occurance than for others.  But what if you could have something with you that would concel your event, and make it a little less daunting in public or in your vehicle, and take some of the stress of um clean up or, odor.

Well the folks over at Sick Saver have your dedicated solution.  Originally made for their daughter who dealt with motion sickness, the bags have quickly caught on with others and big organizations around the world including The United States Navy.  Not really beautiful or glam, but it can surely save you some embarrasing moments and that’s all right by me*

You can buy them in bulks of 5, 25,50, and 100.  $4.95-$49.95
