New Stylish Diabetes Bags…Absolutely!

Thursday, December 27th, 2012

2012 was an amazing year for Stick Me Designs. Not only did I quit my 8-5  j-o-b to run SMD full time I also am going to school to become a licensed Esthetician to better understand how professional skin care can change how we age and take care of ourselves.  So far it’s has been a year full of uphill battles and downward slides (in a good way :)

All in all it’s been a great year, and not only has SMD started more conversations than ever, we’ve done so in all but 4 US States and in 5 countries and counting! We’re growing and it’s all because you all are talking and telling others about diabetes through using our gear and staying on top of testing and monitoring! So Yay You!!

As 2013 kicks off we’re excited to bring in new designs, new awareness jewelry and more conversation starters.  The more people talk, the more people know and that’s a beautiful thing.

I’d like to invite you to come join our conversation on Facebook, or be a part of our Newsletter. As members of these elite

Zebra & Strap

communities you get privileged access to our diabetes bags, jewelry and gear at private pricing and you get insider details before our general visitors…not too shabby.

So if this is your first time here or finding us…Welcome, if you’re just stopping in for a check in…Thank you…Here’s to a wonderful 2013!!

Diabetes Jewelry for Guys | & What’s a Stick Me Sample sale?

Friday, November 11th, 2011

I know there are some manly guys out there that know they need to wear an alert bracelet but I hear ya….you don’t want the same ole medical bracelet right? Perfect because you’re right here right now and you’re in luck. My brain is constantly in motion looking for ways to make living with diabetes less medically depressing. Because let’s face it…diabetes can take a big finger to the sky right? But in any case you still gotta take the proper measures to stay in the best form, and wearing an alert bracelet is one of those measures.

So maybe the big crazy metal chain links isn’t your thing…and absolutely beads and stuff is outta the question. So here’s my take on the guys guy bracelet. It’s constructed of 550lb paracord. You know the cord that the military types use for all their tying needs while deployed and in combat. It’s tough, durable and it’s the stuff men are made of :)

Let me know if I’m remotely getting close on this one guys…and ladies we’re talking great gift idea here..hint…hint :)

In other developments, in addition to it being that time of year when you start changing up your look and refreshing things some. We here in the Stick Me Designs hub aka my home office, are preparing for another collection launch, see picture for sneek peek. And for the clearing of samples…It’s the Stick Me Sample Sale! it’s something that we do to share our samples and in many cases one of kinds with our loyal readers, fans, followers and customers who covet the chase of the good deal.

With that, Please find here your Stick Me Sample designs. Please note that because there is only a couple in some cases only 1 of each design, time is of the essence. If you’d like one of the sample carrying cases please email me at:

info[at]stickmedesigns.com

if your choice is still available I’ll shoot you a payment request email.

Pink Gator: faux leather ‘Original’ wristlet

The Accent Deluxe Clutch:

Uugh ok I’m thinking here..see the blue smoke?

Monday, June 6th, 2011

When you have a spouse who is gone for 6 months at a time.

You have a lot of time to think, and a lot of time to let your mind

wander through it’s tunnels and caves.  Lately my mind is on a rampage…

well lemme rephrase. My mind is on an ever-searching voyage.  With

my husband retiring from the Navy in just over 4 years, it has been

my promise to him that when that time comes, he can take some time

and really figure out who he is without the Navy and not immediately

jump back into another job or career. I think after 20 years (15 of it together)

I can at least give him that.

This means that financially we’ve gotta have our schtick together…more

importantly I’ve got to have my schtick together.  Because truth be told, my

husband is the money maven in the house…me…well let’s just say I’m still

learning….. And moving on.

While putting it out there with my V.I.P.S Circle, and trying to transform my

business, it’s becoming obvious that I have to clearly define the purpose and

what I’m trying to accomplish.

Sounds easy enough right? But uugh it’s so hard to get it right, and get others around you

on board. I struggle with this, but I’m not gonna give up. I know what I’m doing

means something…to someone.  And eventually it will grow and flourish…

This is where I am, I’m striving to be the bread winner of my household…I’m trying

to get there in less than 5 years. I plan on doing it with my company Stick Me Designs…and

I hope you’ll come along for the ride…especially if you like roller coasters.

The JuicyD Collection & You as an Official Re-Seller

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

If you’ve followed any of my Stick Me Designs collections in the past few years you know that I:

1) Love color and cater towards colors that are upbeat, and prints that aren’t scared to be seen.
2) I enjoy letting my customers decide on what colors and prints will be available next.
3) Like to change collections up often to get as many of my customers a chance to ‘fall in love’… and give in to a new Stick Me design…I’ve heard it’s my super power but that’s to be debated :)

So the newest collection called ‘JuicyD’ is certainly no exception. With super bright delicious colors to choose from this Limited Edition collection is sure to please those who long for brightly colored textures, and love attention.

The lineup: –>> Juicy Magenta; Juicy Banana; & Honey.  Another thing I like to do for my customers is offer pre-ordering of my diabetes accessories and bags.  Because the demand for my designs is increasing every season and colleciton, some collections sell out much faster than expected. And while the early birds tend to get the design they want, those who wait sometimes miss their bag.

But with pre-ordering you can ensure your bag will find its’ way to you.  I’ve opened up pre-ordering again for this Limited Edition of bags, as an added incentive to grab yours now, and just in case you’re a true early Holiday shopper. And according to my contractor the new collection is set to arrive next week! Half of the Juicy Mangenta bags have found a home, so if you’re considering grabbing a JuicyD bag…stop on by and swipe yours today.

Another cool happening is the Stick Me Reseller Project.  This is my effort to meet the growing demand locally here in the states and abroad for my designs. Still in its infancy I have a UK reseller who just received her order a couple of weeks back and is already getting inquiries about her ‘exclusive’ designs.  Yup exclusive designs. If you decide you’d like to give being a Reseller a shot, you can have the choice to carry exclusive designs that can only be purchased through you!  It’s just another added bonus of becoming a reseller and carrying Stick Me Designs accessories.

You can even opt for a package that includes your first wholesale order of bags, a custom built 3-5 page website, business cards and/or marketing materials to pass around! Or if you’d just like the bags you can go that route too. It’s super easy to get started… CLICK HERE if you’d like more details, and I’ll contact you with more information.

So ending this post up, I’d like to thank all of you following me on Twitter and who are fans over on Facebook! The community there is remarkable and I continue to learn what you all want and what you expect from me. Thank you Again!

~Rickina
